Patsy Wells Rogers died on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. She was 81 years old. Loving wife for 58 years to Alex E. Rogers. Beloved mother of Stephen “Al” Rogers, Shelley Schenker (William), and Laurie Carlton (John). Grandmother of Jack Rogers, Gabriel Schenker, and Luke Carlton. She is also survived by Lee Ann Betbeze.
Patsy was a graduate of University of Southern Mississippi, where she was a cheerleader and a member and officer of Delta Delta Delta. She taught fifth grade for over forty years. She will be remembered for her love of education, music, and animals.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial gathering at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 10:00AM until 12:00 noon.
