Payton Lynn Lousteau

Payton, fondly known as PayPay and PayTON, was born to Stephen and Phoenix Lousteau on March 30, 2016, in Metairie, LA. Most recently, she attended Kindergarten at Abney Elmentary School in Slidell, LA, where she was known to be an outgoing and talkative student. On the soccer field, she was a force to be reckoned with as she was competitive when she didn’t stop to “bust a move.” She loved singing and dancing, especially with her mom and sister, but her dad would also join in on the fun. She loved being outside, feeding the ducks and recently enjoyed catching her first fish while fishing with her dad on the pier by her house. On Friday nights, she was one of big bubby’s biggest fan in the stands, cheering him on as he played football for the Rummel Raiders. She had the best smile, had an infectious giggle, and never left home without her baby dolls and lipstick.

Loving Daughter of Stephen and Phoenix Lousteau and Sister to MacKynzie, all of whom have joined her in heaven.

She is deeply missed by her Brother, Nathan Lousteau, Son of Jennifer Eschette Fitch (David) and Lexi. Grandparents, Stephen and Linda Lousteau, Dennis and Cindy Plauche and Terry and Mary Lee Feltner. Great Grandmother, Rosalie Griffin. Aunts and Uncles: Aimee Berthelot (Joshua), Brian Lousteau (Rebekah), Emily Bourgeois (Joshua), Terry Feltner (Jessica), Billy Feltner (Kelsey) and Cousins: Isaac, Andee, Elliot, Tristan, Hayes, and Camryn. Along with countless other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends, especially Ember, Ella, and Endy.

The Lousteau, Plauche and Feltner Families would like to give special thanks to St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 1 (Slidell Fire Department), Legacy Automotive Group, Chase Ziblich, Loyola University of New Orleans, Lake Lawn Funeral Home, Metairie Cemetery and the staff at Dignity Memorial, as well as everyone that has reached out and supported our families through prayers, kind words and generous donations.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Angela Merici Church, 901 Beverly Garden Drive, Metairie, LA, on Monday, January 31, with Visitation from 10:30am – 12:30pm. Funeral Mass will begin at 1pm with Burial to follow at Metairie Cemetery.
