Rebecca (Becky) Hall Sidney, age 97, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016. She is survived by her sons, Israel Sidney, Jr. (Joyce) and Ralph G. Sidney (Pamela); her grandchildren, Errol L. Sidney, Sr., Reagan G. Sidney, Ryan G. Sidney, Kyra E. Williams, Quincy R. Brown and Brad B. Brown; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Israel Sidney, Sr. and all of her siblings. Becky enjoyed hosting parties, cooking and gardening. She had a sparkling personality and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will be at 12:00 noon until service time.
