

Rose Cusimano Baur Noto passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the age of 99. She was the wife of the late Sgt. Harold W. Baur by first marriage and the late Anthony Noto by second marriage. She was the daughter of the late Rosario Cusimano and the late Catherine Amato Cusimano Mulé and step-daughter of the late Gabriel Mulé. She was the Mother of Harold W. Baur, II (Diane), Grandmother of Harold W. Baur, III (Sarah), Paul M. Baur (Ashley), Mark J. Baur (Jennifer), and Erin B. Donnelly (Brandon), and Great-grandmother of Caroline, Addison, Brady, Mckenzie, Bryce, Madelyn, Christian, Matthew, Philip, Brandon, Jr., and Mary. She is survived by sisters Sr. Claire Mulé, D.C., and Margaret Ann Mulé, and a brother Judge Salvadore T. Mulé (Margaret Mary) and sister-in-law Mary H. Mulé. She was preceded in death by sisters Mary C. Mulé, Sr. Gabriel Mulé, D.C.; step-sisters Corinne M. Banfield, Sarah Mulé; step-brothers John, Anthony, and Sam Mulé. She is also survived by nephews Thomas, Michael, and Millard Mulé and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a founding parishioner of Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church and an active member of Resurrection’s Altar Society, Life and Lively, and Catholic Daughters of America. Since Hurricane Katrina, she has been a parishioner of St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church and a member of the Missionaries of St. Theresa. She devoted her life to family and friends with her kind, jovial, optimistic, and loving nature. Her love of family was obvious in the way she loved to bake and cook especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. If not in the kitchen, she was in the garden tending to her flowers. She loved playing Bingo and watching Saints and LSU football. The family would like to especially thank Bridget, Corey, and Ruth for their loving friendship.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
