Sandra Walsh Brassette, left her earthly home to be with God in heaven on Saturday August 16, 2014. She leaves behind to mourn her husband, FJ Brassette, Scott Walsh (Amy) her son, Brandy Brassette, her daughter and stepchildren including Bruce Brassette, Edward Dane Brassette, and Lance Brassette. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren. Sandra is further survived by two sisters, Muriel Buck and Mary Ann Grassel.
There is no person that has crossed paths with her that hasn’t told me of such a great loving person she was. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, sister, and brother. She leaves behind many, many nieces and nephews. She has touched all of our lives in ways we could never describe. She worked hard her entire life at The Lighthouse for The Blind and Mount Carmel Academy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visitation services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 10 am to noon. A Funeral Mass in the chapel will follow visitation. Burial will be in Metairie Cemetery.
