Scott resided in Metairie and attended St. Angela Merici. He graduated high school from Brother Martin and attended Southeastern Louisiana University.
Scott was preceded in death by both of his parents, Thelma Virgets Sanders and Irwin Robert Sanders. He is survived by his two sisters, Renee Borne and Gina Sanders, and numerous family and friends.
Scott was in the transportation industry and worked for Port Ship Service.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 12:00PM. The interment will be private. A celebration of life to follow immediately afterwards.
