Sidney Michael Pfister passed away on Saturday, September, 17, 2016 at the age of 84. He is survived by his sister-in-law Ann Haydel Pfister; his nieces, Linda O'Dwyer Smith (Richard), and Mary Angela Rowan (Joe); nephews Ronald Raymond O'Dwyer (Debbie), J Emile Pfister O'Dwyer (Marcie), Francis Raymond Pfister, III, Clayton Anthony Pfister (Kendall), Timothy Thaddeus Pfister (Irma), and numerous great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Dolores Fossier Pfister and Francis Raymond Pfister, Sr.; brothers Raymond Pfister, Jr., Rev. J. Emile Pfister S.J., and twin brother Carol Michael Pfister, and his sister Juanita Pfister O'Dwyer. After graduating from Fortier High School Sidney served in the United States Navy. He worked for many years at Woodward White Corp. as a sales representative. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124 on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.; followed by interment in Metairie Cemetery in his family tomb. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
