Vincent Frank Ferrara

Vincent Frank Ferrara (12/22/32-06/03/23) passed away Saturday, June 3 aged 90. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank Francis Ferrara and Catherine Mary Ferraro Ferrara. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Joan Mc Neely Ferrara, his daughter Lesley Ferrara Poché (Albert R. IV), his granddaughter Helene Clair Paxton and his sister Ann Ferrara Leonard (Jerry).

Vince graduated from Warren Easton High School and attended LSU where he was on the Tigers baseball team. Following college, he served in the US army during the Korean War. He was one of the original employees at McMoRan Exploration in the 1960s. After his retirement from the oil business, he owned Court Street Cuisine, The Blue Rose and The Blow Fly Inn restaurants with his wife on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

The family would like to thank his caretakers Imelda Durel and Melvin McGee for all their help, love and care.

Burial will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
