Barbara Rose Weber, 60, of Land O’Lakes, Florida, passed away at the Gulfside Regional Hospice in Zephyrhills, Florida at 7am on 7 June 2015 from lung cancer.
Barbara was born in Ohio on 14 October 1954 and was a traveler who resided in Ohio, Colorado, Kansas, and Florida. She married Juraj Zidek on 19 June 2009.
As a Christian home maker, Barbara enjoyed horses, sewing, and spending time with family. As children, I can remember her picking us up from the school bus stop by horseback and was always willing to go for a horseback ride. In 1993, she used her sewing skills to personally make 12 elaborate princess dresses for a performance conducted by the Girls Scouts of Chipeta Elementary School. She also spent several months hand stitching sequins elaborately depicting a stable scene on the back of a jean jacket that she later sold in a garage sale. Barbara was always fashion forward saying “You can never have enough shoes, wine, or chocolate!”
Throughout her life, she provided services as an at home care specialist for the elderly; was commissioned as the Salina City County Clerk; labored as a factory assembly worker and later performed data entry at Hewlett-Packard; was employed as a secretary for the Tony’s Pizza purchasing office; and was a licensed cosmetologist.
Barbara is survived by her spouse, Juraj; son, Nicholas Morgus; and daughters, Stephanie Weber and Jennifer Knopf; as well as other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her sister Bonnie.
The funeral service will be held at 2pm on 11 June 2015 at North Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens, New Port Richey, Florida. Burial will follow the funeral at 4pm. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Dignity Memorial - North Meadowlawn Funeral Home.
A loving devoted Mother and Wife, Barbara was known for her beautiful smile, bright blue eyes, and caring personality. She will be greatly missed.
