She was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on March 9th, 1930.
Catalina worked as a Seamstress for Calvin Klein for many years. She was a member of COP Citizen Observer Patrol- Broward County. She had a passion for fighting crime and loved cats and all animals.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Nydia Torres, her siblings Francisca Rodriguez, Maria Nunez, Gabriel Nunez, Baldo Nunez, Publio Nunez, Magdalena Nunez as well as her father Genaro Nunez and mother Luz Maria Arroyo de Nunez. She is survived by her siblings Ana Rivera, Teofilo Nunez, Felita Nunez, Leila Nunez, Luis Nunez, Benigno Nunez and many, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who all loved her very much.
A visitation for Catalina will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 2:00 pm Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Followed by a funeral service at 3:00pm and Graveside service.
In lieu of Flowers, donations to the Humane society of Broward county in Catalina's memory would be appreciated.
