Mrs. Darina Ferrini

Darina Ferrini, 79, of of Holiday, Florida passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021. She was born in Czechoslovakia on March 27, 1942. Darina attended 23 schools in 3 countries, even a one-room school house in a rural area outside of Oshawa, Canada. In the fall of 1955 she got her Visa and moved to the Chicago area. Darina graduated from N. Sterling Morton High School then continued her education at the University of Illinois and received her Bachelors in Science Home Economics. She was married to Joseph Ferrini on June 20,1964. Darina had a career of tutoring and teaching students at Oakview Jr. high in Skokie, IL and Fairfield, OH. She had a passion for scrapbooking, synchronized swimming, travel, geneology, ice skating, waterskiing, gardening, sewing and snow skiing. She is survived by her husband Joseph Ferrini. Her Children Gina Ferrini Hensley and Anthony Ferrini. Her Grandchildren Brianna Hensley, Gia Hensley, Joseph Ferrini, and Rocco Ferrini.
