She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 ½ years Jerry Lichtenwalter, nearly one year ago. She leaves behind daughters Diana Lichtenwalter and Anita Bonner, son-in-law Ken Bonner, brother Edward Yeager and his wife Tracey Yeager, and brother-in-law Galen Lichtenwalter and his wife Pat Lichtenwalter, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Fay was born on February 9, 1943 to the late Ferdinand and Verona Yeager in suburbs of Baltimore, MD. There she would stay until meeting and subsequently marrying Jerry in October 1965, while working for the Social Security Administration. The two went on to have two daughters and countless adventures for the next 58 years. While their daughters were growing up the family traversed the country by car nearly every summer, eventually visiting all 50 states. Once the girls were grown, cruises and world travel became the norm for Fay, Jerry, and their youngest daughter Diana. They visited Russia, Egypt, Spain, and other exotic locations around the world. As life settled down, they were avid Tampa Bay Rays fans, going to nearly every game and Fan Event with their daughter Diana.
Fay was also the family artist - sewing clothing, making costumes for theater and Halloween, volunteering at the school library making bulletin boards, painting murals in the home, needle-point, and crocheting.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 6pm until the Celebration of Life at 7pm, Meadow Lawn Funeral Home, 4244 Madison Street New Port Richey, Florida 34652.
