He was the only son of four children by Harry Rupp and Christine Weber Rupp and is survived by a sister, Louise Tyler who resides in New York. He is also survived by 3 children; Dorothy Rupp, Gwen “Pam” Pippi, and Harry “Beau” Rupp Jr III, and an ex-wife Janet Rupp, all residing in Florida. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sons; Bryan Rupp, 56 of Virginia and John Rupp, 27 of Florida.
Harry was an Army Veteran and served in the Korean War where he earned several medals, including National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He was a Missile Launcher Crewman and served from 1954 to 1956. He then served another 8 years in the Reserves.
Born in Huntington, NY he moved to New Jersey after leaving the Army where he raised his own family. He was a farmer and a truck driver. He retired and moved to Florida in 1988.
