He was born in Superior, Wisconsin on October 23rd, 1942. John graduated from Superior High School. He was married to Ruth Marion (Eckert) Janovick on July 2nd, 1966.
John served in United States Air Force for four years plus as an air traffic controller. John worked for the electric department of Rice Lake, Wisconsin as well as D. J. L. Surveying of New Port Richey, Florida as a draftsman and surveyor. He had a passion for building, telescopes, model airplanes and train sets.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Janovick, and two sons Jonathan and Jeffery Janovick of Brooksville, Florida. Sister in laws, Pauline Meyer of Osseo, Wisconsin and Rita (Leer) Williams of New Port Richey, Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews.
