Marjorie F. Daly

Marjorie was preceded by her children Robert Sherry Jr., Ann Sheehan and Joseph Sherry. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kristen Byrne and Heather Curley and great grandchildren David, Emily and Christopher Byrne, Jacqueline and Ryan Curley. She is preceded in death by her first husband Robert Sherry and second husband Jim Daly.

Marjorie’s son Robert Sherry has lived in Keene, NH since 1984 where he has retired from teaching economics at Keene State College. Her daughter Ann Sheehan has resided in Portsmouth, NH since 1996.

Marjorie was born on March 31, 1927 in Peabody, MA. to the late Herman Vorel and Valida Trembly. She married Robert Sherry, a WWII veteran. After his passing, she was blessed in finding a second chance at happiness with fellow widower Jim Daly. They were happily married for 16 years, until Jim passed away.

Marjorie was a warm and generous woman. She was an accomplished singer often performing as a soloist at St. John’s Church in Peabody, MA and also singing for the soldiers through the USO. She loved to sing to patients and staff at the Lifecare Center in Florida.

A memorial will be planned this summer in NH with details to follow. The family would like to thank the Life Care Center in Florida for their loving care.
