

Sperlazza, Sal 70; passed away on February 19, 2013 in Ft. Pierce, Florida where he was enjoying time visiting with family. He was born on October 7, 1942 in Meriden, CT to Jerry & Carmela Sperlazza. Sal was the owner/operator of Prestige Laundry Services for 20plus years in Town-N-Country/Tampa, Florida. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church where, in retirement, he enjoyed volunteering. He served as President of the Town-N-Country Optimist Club and Lt. Governor for the North Florida District of Optimist International; he was chairperson of the Building Committee for St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Londonderry, NH. Sal was an avid Buccaneers fan and a father and mentor to all who came into his life. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lisa Sperlazza, New Port Richey, FL; his beloved daughters Mary Sperlazza and Susan (Kevin) Vey; 2 grandchildren who were the light and joy of his life, Lacy and Kyle Vey; brother Frank(Sandy) Sperlazza and their daughter, Christine Morrell and her children; brother in heart and cousin Michael(Sharon) Carbone of Berlin, CT, their daughters Stephanie Carbone and Aimee McBride; nieces & nephew Eddie Lacy, Penny Camire, Sharon Webb, and their children; and many numerous friends who will miss him dearly. The family is accepting donations in lieu of flowers.
