Andre Amieko White-El

Dre’ was especially known for his love of food, both eating and cooking. He devoted his entire professional career to food services, assuming various titles in the restaurant industry throughout the years. His dream was to eventually establish his own restaurant and was very successful with his own food truck. At home, you would most often find Dre’ outside grilling, or in the kitchen working his magic. At work, Dre’ was the Culinary Manager for Prime Time Pub & Grill, where he developed menus, created new dishes, and helped maintain the daily kitchen operations. Because of his contributions Prime Time would win numerous culinary awards.

In 1995 Dre’ joined and devoted his life to the Moorish Science Temple of America, Inc., and founded Subordinate Temple #2 in Evansville in 2010, over which he presided as Grand Sheik. Dre’ was later initiated into the Adept Chamber, ordained a Divine Minister, and received his Letters of Appointment on October 15, 2012, in Baltimore, MD. In 2022 he was appointed National Assistant Grand Sheik of the M.S.T. of A.

Despite these achievements, nothing gave Dre’ more pride and honor than his children, whom he enjoyed spending as much time with as possible.

Dre’ leaves to cherish his memory: daughters, Kilynn White-El and Khloe White-El; son, Kelbi White-El; parents, Juanita and Andrew White; brothers, Tony White, Chris White and Robert White; beloved sister, Mikka Hoy; devoted fiancé, Jennifer Johnson; daughters, Raenelle Williams and Brandi Dixon; sons, Shannon Williams and Tyrell Williams, and multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends, by whom he will be missed and honored.

Funeral Service and Last Rites will be held at Alexander Funeral Home – Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh, IN 47630, Saturday May 20, 2023. Viewing from 10:00 am to Noon, Service to begin at Noon with livestream beginning at 11:50 a.m. at www.facebook.com/funeralstreamusa
