She graduated from Richland High School in 1950. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she met and married her husband of 72 years, Robert Schoonard. They were married on January 20, 1951. Robert and Audrey welcomed their only child, Robert Keith, into the world in July 1957.
Audrey was kind and generous, happily sharing her roses, homemade cookies, and sewing creations with everyone she met. She was a devoted big sister to her three younger brothers and often shared hilarious stories and cherished memories of growing up on the family farm in Spencer County.
She was an avid collector of tins, teapots, cookbooks, and rolling pins. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, cross-stitching, crocheting, needlepoint, sewing, and reading. Her favorite author was Rosamunde Pilcher.
Audrey is survived by her brothers, Delbert and Daryl Renshaw; nieces and nephews, and close friends, Jeffrey and Ann Leek, and Mike Freeman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her son, Robert Keith; her parents, Harmon and Olive Renshaw; her brother, Jerry Renshaw; and her in-laws, Clarence and Bertha.
Her family would like to thank Heart to Heart Hospice and Dolly LaBelle for taking such wonderful care of Audrey for the past 10 months.
