Cathy Lynn Maglinger

She graduated from North High School and University of Evansville where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Cathy recently retired as a Registered Nurse from St. Mary’s Medical Center where she devoted many years to helping others. Her children and grandchildren were her passion and delight.

Cathy was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Judy Mills; grandmother, Lucy Nunley; granddaughter, Adelyn Banning; and father-in-law, Calvin Maglinger.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Stan Maglinger of Newburgh; daughter, Jennifer (Kevin) Banning and granddaughters, Isabella and Emma of Evansville; son, Brad (Meredith) Maglinger and grandchildren, Alexis and Isaac of Denver, CO. Cathy is also survived by her father, Donald (Barbara) Mills; brother, Rick (Karen) Mills and nephew, David Mills; sister, Sheri Mills; mother-in-law, Ruth Maglinger; brother-in-law, Paul (Jenny) Maglinger and nieces, Jessica (Adam) Will and Sy Dym, all of Evansville.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, May 12, 2017, at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, Evansville, IN, with entombment in the Chapel of Remembrance. Friends may visit 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh, IN, and 10 a.m. until service time on Friday at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel.
