Cheryl Ann (Duffy) Pleuss, 58, departed this world for eternity with her Savior on December 6, 2015. She was born June 7, 1957, in King’s Lynn Norfolk, England to Charles F. and Clarice Duffy, both of whom preceded her in death.
She served her country in the United States Army, assigned to the White House under President Carter in the 70’s. In the 80’s and 90’s she filled administrative roles at St. Mary’s Hospital in the Physical Therapy and Pharmacy Departments. She spent the remainder of her life being a supporter and a source of joy to her husband, children and grandchildren as well as to a large network of friends and admirers. She was a member of Abundant Life Church of Newburgh.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 29 years, Brian Pleuss, Newburgh; son, Jared (Sarah) Pleuss, Newburgh; daughter, Jessica Pleuss, Newburgh; grandchildren Christian, Charlie and Cohen Pleuss; and by her sister, Charlene (John) Long of Phoenix, AZ.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 10, 2015, from 3-8 PM at Alexander Newburgh Chapel. Funeral Service will be conducted Friday at 9 AM at the funeral home, with Rev. Troy Boulware officiating.
