He was a US Navy Veteran and was a member of Living Word Church. Donald was a retired lay minister, and drywall and paint contractor.
Donald was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Jones.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Diane (Converse) Jones; son, David Jones of Newburgh; daughters, Ronda Frances (Michael) of OR, Robin Jones Cole (Chris) of OR, Melanie Jones of OR and Fiona Jones of TX; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren, and sister, Sara Fischer of CA.
A Memorial Service will be 6:00 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2022 at Living Word Church, 3888 State Road 261, Newburgh, IN, officiated by Pastor Tommy Epperson and Pastor Tyron Edwards. Family and friends may visit Monday from 4:00 to service time at the church.
