She was a member of Royal Neighbors and worked at Sears Roebuck & Co. where she retired January 2, 1976.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, George F. Knowles, who passed away January 15, 1971.
She is survived by her son, Gary and his wife Ann; grandchildren, Jennifer Claborn and husband Bobby, Bryan Knowles and wife Kim, Sara Cole and husband James; 6 great grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; 5 step great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 23, 2010, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Chaplain Randall Bechtel with burial at Sunset Memorial Park.
