Harold J. Epley

He was an electrician and served as Treasurer for the IBEW Local 16. Harold was an Army veteran, serving during Vietnam; a member of the Kapperman Post 44 American Legion; and Past Department Commander of the Indiana American Legion.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Christina Epley.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Epley; son, Bryon Lee (Darlene) of Knoxville, TN; daughter, Jennifer Bufkin (Derek) of Evansville; grandchildren, Lucas, Kiersten, and Michael; sister, Mary Tucker (Jim); brother, Kenneth Epley (Joanne); sister, Phyllis Hodgson, all of Newburgh, IN; nieces and nephews; and an aunt, Rita Eble.

Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 21, 2010, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Road, Newburgh, IN officiated by Fr. Joseph Ziliak with burial at St. John’s Cemetery. Military Honors will be performed at the cemetery by American Legion Kapperman Post 44. Friends may visit 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh, IN.
