Janie Tevault Mullen, 74, of Newburgh passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at her home. Janie was born to the late Gerald Ethan and Elsie Heath Tevault in Evansville on March 23, 1946. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Leucht.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, David Andrew Mullen. She and David were married shortly out of North High School and lived a loving and full life. They were blessed with two children, Kristin Mullen Proctor (John) and Eric Andrew Mullen (Ellen); grandchildren, Andrew Lee Proctor (Lacey) and Meredith Kathryn Proctor, great granddaughter, Adley Proctor. Upon the children’s marriages, David and Janie were graced with 4 additional grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Grandchildren, Stephanie Proctor Smith (Scott), Stacey Proctor Fish (Nate), Brandon Crane (Melissa), and Chris Crane (Kelly). Great grandchildren, Mason and Mabrey Smith, Caleb and Caroline Fish, Elle and Mia Crane. She is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Sue Schultz (John), several nieces and nephews, cousins and many in-laws.
Janie enjoyed trips with David in their MG sports car and the wonderful friends made on their many adventures. She loved creating handmade greeting cards, rubber stamping, and making jewelry.
A Memorial Visitation will be 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261.
