Jared Patrick McIntosh

Known by many friends as “J Fresh,” he was an avid member of the YMCA. He loved playing basketball and was a huge fan of The Syracuse Orange. Jared enjoyed hunting at Stillwater Club. He loved his family farm in upstate New York and snow skiing. His best friend, his dog, “Buster” preceded him in death by a few months. From 2014 to 2015, Jared enjoyed living in Denver, CO, where he most enjoyed being in and with nature.

He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Jimmy and Martha Martin.

Jared is survived by a large and loving family including his parents, David and Sharon McIntosh of Newburgh, IN; brother, Derek of Denver, CO; grandparents, Allan and Lee McIntosh of Waddington, NY; 5 uncles; 5 aunts; and 13 cousins all residing in New York, Texas, California and Florida.

Friends may visit 2:00 – 4:30 PM on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, where Jared’s Celebration of Life will be held at 4:30 PM officiated by Rev. Jeff Kinkade.
