Jeanette K. Parker

Jeanette was a native of Spencer County graduating from Rockport High School in 1944. She retired from Burch Plow Works in 1979.

She attended St. John’s East UCC. Jeanette was also a member of Daughters of the Nile, ISIS Temple #41.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen “Bud” Parker; brothers, Charles Freschly, Otto Freschly Jr, and Allen R. Freschly.

Jeanette is survived by five sisters-in-law, Ruth Lehmkuhl of Evansville, Nina Lee Parker of Evansville; Dorothy Freschly of Rockport, Lillian Freschly of Rockport, and Pearly Freschly of Rockport. She was a loving aunt to seven nieces and nephews; numerous grand nieces and nephews; and great-grand nieces and nephews. She was also survived by many cousins who have been so very special to her throughout her life.

The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Tuano and the staff of St. Mary’s 6 East for their care and compassion.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Rev. Kenneth Townsend with burial at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Rockport. Friends may visit from 2:00 to 6:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
