Jorge Ayan Bravo, 15, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Deaconess VNA Plus Hospice Center in Evansville. He was born June 12, 2001, in Newburgh, to Ana Bravo and the late Jesus Bravo.
He was a member of Nativity Catholic Church. Jorge would have been a Sophomore at Castle High School. He enjoyed playing video games, swimming and ordering pizza. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Jorge was preceded in death by his dad, Jesus Bravo; and grandfather, Ignacio Bravo.
He is survived by his mom and step-father, Ana Bravo and Tim Ransome; brothers, Eric Bravo of Washington, D.C., Ricky and Marcos Bravo; grandparents, Jesus and Carmen Monarrez and Maria Trinidad Bravo; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 18, 2016, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church officiated by Rev. Henry Kuykendall with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit 1-8 PM on Sunday at Alexander Newburgh Chapel.
