Larry Eugene Wilder

Larry Eugene Wilder, 90, of Newburgh passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021. He was born September 23, 1930 in Evansville to the late Bethel and Ruth Mae (Goodge) Wilder.
He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Newburgh and a past member of Warrick Bass Masters. Larry worked at Bernardins for 15 years and retired from Alcoa as a security guard in 1989 after 25 years. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and helping the Kroeger family butcher each year.
Larry was preceded in death by his sisters, Juanita Rhea and Elberta Theison.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patricia (Rhodes) Wilder; daughter, Jenny Brown (Larry) of Boonville; son, Jay Wilder (Lisa) of Bowling Green, KY; step-daughter, Nancy Ripani (John) of Tennessee; step-sons, Glenn Kroeger (Ann) and Roger Kroeger (Rhonda) of Newburgh; sister, Ruth Lee of Newburgh; brother, Harvey Wilder (Tonya) of Princeton, KY; grandchildren, April, Brandi, Josh, Jeremy and Jaylyn; great-grandchildren, Alexander, Addy, Abby and Kaleb; 10 step-grandchildren; 8 step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Woodland Golden Living for their loving care the past 5 years.
Due to COVID, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion United Church of Christ.
