He was a disabled veteran, serving his country in the Marine Corps. Mark completed two deployments to Okinawa and several other deployments. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar and spending time with family and his Marine buddies. He loved his German Shepherd, Rika.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Marcia Cummings, and brothers, David Cummings and Tim Cummings.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Julie (Bratcher) Cummings; daughters, Leigha Cummings and Brooke Cummings; sons, Tim Cummings and Jacob Cummings; sister, Denise Cummings; sister-in-law, Teresa Cummings (David), and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be 11:30 a.m., Monday, November 28, 2022 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Pastor Tony Henderson. Family and friends may visit Monday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
