

Muriel attended Indiana State Teacher’s College earning a degree in Home Economics, sharing her gift of teaching at Midland High School in Midland, IN and Hymera School in Hymera, IN. She was a devoted teacher using kindness and a quick wit to brighten the days for her students. She was a den mother for Cub Scouts. Muriel was a valued member in the Newburgh Garden Club, PEO, and St. John’s East United Church of Christ where she was a member of the Guild and continued her love of teaching through Sunday school classes.
Muriel joined her Lord and those preceding her in death: husband, Kenny Kramer; son, Don Kramer; parents, Roscoe and Pauline Wolf, and sister, Greta Wolf.
She will be deeply missed by her son, Ron Kramer and wife Teresa; daughter-in-law, Nancy Kramer; grandchildren, Alicia Harris (Ryan), Ashley Powell (Brandon), Justin Kramer, Katie Schneider (Travis), and great grandchildren, Kai Harris, Quinn Harris, Madison Powell, and Blake Powell.
A private service will be held to celebrate Muriel’s life on August 30th at Alexander Funeral Home Newburgh Chapel at 10:00 AM, and she will be laid to rest by her husband at Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.
