Nancy M. Northen

She retired from Newburgh Elementary School after 30 years of teaching and was a member of the Warrick County Teachers Association. Nancy was a member of Abundant Life Community Church for over 30 years, where she was very involved in serving various ministries within the church. She was very active in her grandchildren’s lives. She loved reading and Bible study. She also enjoyed birds and wildlife.

Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Scott R. Northen.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Paul R. Northen; daughter, Michele Miller (Mark A.); grandchildren, D.R. Miller (Amanda), Brenen Miller (Lisa), Sofia Dung (Ryan), Sean Miller (Maria), Haily Miller and Emily Northen; 6 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Northen; and best friend, Mae Mason (Max).

A Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 25, 2022 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Pastor Mark G. Short and Pastor Troy Boulware, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may visit Monday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
