Nyeda Carol Foster Helfert Ditzer

She worked as a 911 Dispatcher and Supervisor for the City of Henderson. Nyeda enjoyed sewing, crocheting and traveling with her kids. She was an avid genealogist in her retirement.

Nyeda was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Albert Helfert; and brother, Gary Foster.

She is survived by sons, Donald Helfert (Karen) of Avon, IN, Darrin Helfert (Audra) of Folsomville, IN, Richard Helfert (Jennifer) of Newburgh, IN, Ken “K.B.” Helfert (Tricia) of Folsomville, IN; daughters, Nyeda West (Andy) of Boonville, IN, Veronica Boland (Billy) of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Alicia, Randy, Andrea, Ryan, Shelby, Ian, Jordan, Evan, Kaitlyn, Allison, William, and Raegan; brothers, Clayton Foster (Ellen Barnett), Leslie Foster (Sharon), Daniel Foster (Shannon), Chet Foster (Jayme); sister, Doris Wright, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh, IN, with burial at Barnett Chapel Cemetery in Elberfeld, IN. Friends may visit 3:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday and 9:00 AM to service time Saturday.
