Dr. Sajjad Haider passed on January 3, 2021.
He was born to live for others, a noble deed he fulfilled till his age of 96. He was the author of 8 well received books, mostly pertaining to the commonalities shared between the world religions. He believed in God Almighty and was ready to serve His creation any opportunity he had, very imperceptibly.
Dr. Sajjad worked in agriculture in Pakistan however he dedicated his life here in America to those with special needs, obtaining a PhD in special education with focus on education administration. He retired as a principal from Emerson Public School in Minneapolis, Minnesota for special education. Before that he taught as a professor of education in Southern Illinois University. He moved to Newburgh Indiana in 1994 to be with his family.
A man with a heart of gold and a humanitarian, he was a philanthropist by generously giving to charities even for last 5 years of his precious life when he was not able to communicate with most.
He was a guiding light tower for his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and anyone who tried to seek his guidance.
