Sharon R. Skelton

Sharon R. (Reinhart) Skelton, age 71, of Evansville, IN passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born September 6, 1940 in Evansville, IN (Vanderburgh County) to Lester J. and Helen D. (Nelson) Reinhart.

She was employed in the medical administrative field most of her life, both in Evansville, IN and Venice, FL. She had also worked at Anthem Insurance Company in the Medical Department.

Sharon enjoyed time with her grandchildren, reading, playing cards, working crossword puzzles, dining with friends and her lifelong hobby of researching her family roots. She kept many genealogy files, paper and computerized, pictures, etc., and shared these with her extended family. She was of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas Reinhart.

Sharon is survived by her children; David Skelton of Newburgh, IN, Barbara Miller (Larry) of Greenwood, IN, Deborah Thomas (Bob) and Susan Simon (Stacy) both of Newburgh, IN; her grandchildren, Natalie Thomas, Jason Skelton, Lauren, Julie, and Mark Miller, Sean and Brandon Simon, all of Indiana. She is also survived by siblings; Jackie Ashley (Don), Judy Small (Chuck), Richard Reinhart (Penny), Larry Reinhart (Nancy) and Bill Reinhart (Bonnie); nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.

Friends may visit 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, March 30, 2012, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel. The funeral home will handle the cremation and there will be a private burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Evansville, IN (Vanderburgh County).
