Aaron D. Buckley

Aaron Daniel Buckley, passed away peacefully and way too soon on January 19, 2023, at the age of 42.
Aaron is survived by his loving wife Kristen of almost 6 years and will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by his children Brandon, Jack and Kaili. Aaron is the devoted son of Mary (Don) Huffar, son-in-law of Cindy (Steve) Rendell and Jim (Joyce) Kegl. Dear brother of Alison (Jeff) Carlson and fond brother-in-law of Jimmy Kegl, Michael (Terri) Kurcab, Kate (Kevin) Johnson, and Jon Thomas. Aaron will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless good friends and co-workers. Aaron was preceded in death by his father Ronald Buckley and his brother Daniel Buckley.
Aaron graduated from the Fire Academy as a Paramedic in 2012 and continued his career with the Chicago Fire Department as a true community hero. He loved music, mini family vacations, the mountains and his most favorite- being at home with his family. Aaron will be best remembered for his hilarious dry sense of humor, being “Aaronstotle”, and his infamous dance moves. He was sweet and sensitive to all who knew him and was always so happy go lucky. Aaron loved being Irish and was an avid Cubs fan, Go Cubs!
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023, 8:15am prayer service, from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, Il 60453 processing to St. Christina Catholic Church, Mass 9:30am. Visitation will be held Monday, January 23, 2023, 3pm to 8pm. Interment will be private.
A special thank you to the critical care team, the surgical teams, LVAD teams and all the amazing staff at Northwestern Hospital that took wonderful care of Aaron.
