Betty J. Grady

Betty J. Grady, nee Sporre, age 86, passed away Sept. 27th. Beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother of Maryellen, the late Patricia, Katherine (Larry) Carlson, Maureen (Richard) Stamper, Michael (Sandy) and William. Proud grandmother of Sonja, Eric, Kate (Andy), Clayton (Becky), Kevin (Kelly), Zac (Katie), Louise, Justin, Josiah, Ryan and Michaela. Loving great-grandmother to Joel, Shiloh, Calvin, Izadora, Izaak, Caleb and Lydia. Fond sister of Dorothy Stanek and the late June (Rudy) Moffler. She will be missed by her in-laws, cousins, many nieces and nephews and dear friends. She was the retired Director of Volunteers at Oak Forest Hospital. She enjoyed reading, traveling, swimming and sunbathing. She will be remembered for her thoughtful, generous and courageous manner throughout her life and recently in her battle with cancer. Funeral Monday 9:15 AM from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn to Our Lady of the Ridge Church Mass 10:00AM. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. Visitation Sunday 4:00 – 8:00PM.
