I am so sorry and so saddened to hear about the loss of your precious son. Eric and I dated in college at Purdue but lost touch over the years.  We had no mutual friends and sadly I just learned of his passing today on Facebook through tagged photos.   On this extremely though day, the one year anniversary of Eric's death.   I wish you peace.   His memories will live on and he touched so many many lives during his short life on Earth.  Peace be with you.

As the anniversary of Eric's passing approaches, I am still overwhelmed by the enormity of the tragedy. Joy and God's peace still seem to be as elusive as they were last year for the family left behind. May every one who reads this post continue to pray for the family of Eric. May God's peace gently alight on them, never to leave again. That is my prayer.

My best friend i can not replace!!!!!!!!!!!! He will be missed and never forgotten!

I worked with Eric for a short while why I was on contract at Cummins back in 07 and 08. He was a fellow gear head and we talked about cars etc over many a lunch down in the Cafeteria at CTC. He was my age and He passed on my Birthday last year. Though I knew him only for a shor while I think of him often as it reminds me of my own mortality. Dont take life for granted, it can be cut short. Cherrish every moment. Erics energy and charm will be missed.

I knew Eric as a member of the Marist Band. I had the pleasure of being a chaperon for him on a few of their tours. The young man had a zest for life and kept everyone on their toes.
He will be sadly missed and long remembered.
My heartfelt sympathies and prayers to his family and  I am sure that Eric will keep the Lord on his toes also.

Eric and I were interns together at Caterpillar. We carpooled to work everyday, and during our morning drives in his Miata, he would introduce me to all sorts of country songs. Everytime I hear a Rascal Flatts song now I think fondly of Eric. He was such a fun, loyal friend. I will miss him dearly. My heart goes out to his family.

I am honored to have been given the opportunity to know Eric.  There was never a dull moment when he was around.  God bless his family as they go through these unexpected times.

Eric has touched the lives of many people and his memory lives on. My thoughts and prayers are with the Fritz family.

My brother Kerry, my cousin Brian, and I were all part of the Marist Band while Eric was there.  He was always kind, fun, and a soft spoken guy. Eric was a bright, young, up and coming engineer who I worked with at Cummins.  His tenacity and drive to learn and grow will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this difficult time.

No one knows why some of our favorite people are called to leave the planet too early but we look forward to the promise of seeing them again while they pray for us in the interum.  Blessings.

Eric will be missed by all of at Cummins. It has been a very quiet and somber week at work. Seems that the only laughter heard was when talked of him kissing a pig for a charity event. He really was a great young man and I would like to say I am sorry to all of his family and freinds for their loss

You could always enjoy a conversation with Eric because he was so willing to talk back to you. You did such a fine job raising him. My deepest sympathies to your family. Though I didn't know Eric very well, we did work together at Kahn's Catering and I always enjoyed when we did an event together. He was so much fun, so witty and had a scientific mind that could figure out all sorts of placements and get things in rhythm and running smoothly. To Eric's family our hearts and prayers are with you during these difficult times. 
I know that it is easy to question "why" during this difficult times and to become angry. But it's times like this that we always don't get to know the answer "why" and we have to rely on our faith to get us through these difficult times. It's times like these that allows us to believe in Gods plan for our lives.

Eric was a student in Mechanical Engineering that was a wonderful student to work with and be around.  Even after graduation, Eric always went out of his way, when on campus, to stop and talk to me.  I am so, so sorry for your loss - he was a student that I will always remember.  As his Academic Advisor in Mechanical Engineering, he always had a smile and something kind to say to me.  My prayers and thoughts are with you at this very sad time.

I knew Eric in high school, and while I haven't talked to him or seen him in many years, he is not an easy person to forget.  He is a man whose smile could make any bad day better, and his personality was not comparable to any other. It's truly a loss to the community and all those around him.  Your son was a great man, and please take comfort in knowing that he touched so many people just by being him:)  A great example of a great man, God has gained a wonderful soul.

I remember Eric when he used to hang around my niece Christie Buckingham. I always thought he was a great kid and had a wonderful sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers go to your family at this very difficult time.

Eric was a wonderful friend to have growing up.  He was always there when you needed him no matter what the reason. And although we could go years without seeing each other, he could always pick up right where we left off.  I consider myself very lucky to have known him and I hope to see him again one day.  I am keeping his family and friends in my thoughts.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Eric.  Eric was a valuable member of the Cummins Service team.  His Cummins family will miss him.  I pray God will comfort your family during this difficult time.
