Esperanza Hernandez Navarro

Nació el diez de julio de mil novecientos treinta y dos en San Francisco de Asís, Jalisco, hija primogénita de Aurora López y Daniel Hernández, seguida por sus hermanos Rubén, Rodolfo, Elvira, Socorro, Celia y José de Jesús.

El veintidós de febrero de mil novecientos cincuenta y cuatro, tomó como esposo a Paulino Navarro y al matrimonio le llovió la abundancia de diez hijos: Arcelia, Raquel, Roberto, Esperanza, Lourdes, Victor, Ana Sofía, Aurora, José y Daniel.

Dios le dió el don de querer cariñosamente sin reparos como hija, hermana, tía, y guadalupana y como esposa, madre, abuela y bisabuela. Emanaba la gracia de paciencia y dulce ternura y encarnaba el poder del perdón.

Su partida de este mundo deja en los corazones de sus seres queridos un hondo desconsuelo. Nos proponemos llenar ese vacío poniendo el ejemplo de su vida en alto para así amarnos como hermanos en Cristo.

El viernes, quince de diciembre de las cuatro de la tarde a las ocho, la velaremos en la funeraria Blake-Lamb ubicada en 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453.

Comenzaremos el día sábado, dieciséis de diciembre a las diez y cuarto de la mañana con una oración en la funeraria Blake-Lamb seguida por una misa en su honor a las once en la Iglesia Católica St. Linus ubicada en 10300 Lawler Ave., Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Su sepultura se dará a las doce y media del día en el camposanto St. Mary en la 87th & Hamlin Ave., Evergreen Park, IL 60805.

On Monday, December 11th, in Oak Lawn, Illinois, the Virgin Mary covered Esperanza Hernandez Navarro with her mantle and the Lord received her in his open arms.

Born on July 10th, 1932 in San Francisco de Asis, Jalisco, she was the firstborn to Aurora Lopez and Daniel Hernandez, followed by her siblings Ruben, Rodolfo, Elvira, Socorro, Celia and Jose de Jesus.

On February 22, 1954, she took Paulino Navarro as her husband and their marriage was blessed with the abundance of ten children: Arcelia, Raquel, Roberto, Esperanza, Lourdes, Victor, Ana Sofía, Aurora, Jose and Daniel.

God gave her the gift of loving affectionately and selflessly as a daughter, sister, aunt, Guadalupan and as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She exuded the grace of patience and gentle tenderness and embodied the power of forgiveness.

Her parting from this world leaves the hearts of her loved ones heavy with grief. May we fill that void by holding the example of her life on high to love each other as sisters and brothers in Christ.

On Friday, December 15th, from 4PM to 8PM, a wake will be held at the Blake-Lamb Funeral Home located at 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453.

On Saturday, December 16th at 10:15AM, we will hold prayers at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, followed by an 11AM mass in her honor at St. Linus Catholic Church at 10300 Lawler Ave., Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Her interment will take place at 12:30PM at St. Mary's Cemetery at 87th & Hamlin Ave., Evergreen Park, IL 60805.
