Evelyn Jean Steffan (nee Bryan) 89, entered into eternal rest on February 9, 2019. She was married to Rudolph Steffan for 50 years until his death in 2001. Evelyn is survived by four children: Rudy (Karen) J. Steffan, Bruce Steffan, Claudia Jo (Russell) Carrier, and Kathleen (Jim) Bozyk; Evelyn has 13 siblings, six brothers, the late Frank Bryan, the late John Miller-Bryan, the late Charles (the Margaret) Bryan, Claude (the late Nancy )Bryan, Jr., Aaron (Ruby) Bryan, Victor (Norma) Bryan; seven sisters, the late Ellen Woodward, the late Florence (Ed) Poole, the late Erma (the late Charles) Bruno, Grace (the late Oscar) Wolf, Josephine (the late Don) Ballard, Carrol (John) Stahlman, and Marlene (Julius) Magyar; 13 Grandchildren: Jay Steffan, Colleen (Bill) Buckingham, Dan (Erin) Steffan, Bruce (Tara) Steffan, Jr., Bob (Samantha) Steffan, Teresa Steffan, Russ (Tandem) Carrier, Lori Ann (Stuart) Carrier, the late Brian Carrier, Gary (Sylwia) Wright, Jacob (Jennifer) Bozyk, Matthew (Gina) Bozyk, Steffanie Bozyk; and 17 Great Grandchildren all of whom refer to her as Mimi.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home 4727 W. 103rd St. Oak Lawn. Funeral Friday, February 15, 2019, family and friends gathering from 10:00 a.m. until time of chapel service at 10:30 a.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home.
