James T. Carroll

Jim’s sense of humor and love of gardening, music, and golf will be remembered by all who knew him. He had many roles throughout his life: proud father to his two children, Brian and Diane; devoted husband to his wife, Patricia (nee Richards); cherished brother to Diane (Charles) O’Brien, Dorothy (James) Harty, Betty Daudelin, and Colette Seitz, and brother-in-law to Gail (Wayne) Comeau, Charles (Deb) Richards, Joyce (George) Englebrecht, John Richards, Joe (Jean) Richards, and Bill Richards; and beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyril and Dorothy Carroll. Jim’s family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Fina, who tirelessly helped with his care.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 19th, 2026 from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm at Blake Lamb Funeral Home , 4727 W. 103rd St in Oak Lawn. A funeral Mass will take place at St. Barnabas Parish at 10:00 am on Monday, April 20th, 2026 at 10134 S. Longwood Drive in Chicago, with Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 W. 111th Street in Alsip.
