John F. Bartosch

John F. Bartosch, age 80, sadly passed away on December 7th, 2023. John is survived by his amazing wife of 55 years JoAnn (Bowers) Bartosch; Loving Father of Sherry. He was proud grandfather (Poppy) of Zachery Cavalea. He is also survived by his sister Theresa Cohen. Cherished uncle and cousin.

John was born in Chicago on November 10th, 1943, to parents John and Jean (Pass) Bartosch who are both deceased. He went on to graduate from Oak Lawn High School in 1963. John served 4 years in the U.S Airforce and honorably discharged on August 6th, 1969. Retired factory worker of 33 years from Copperweld in Bedford Park. He loved spending time with family and friends. His one thing he truly enjoyed was playing bingo and watching the Cubs. He will be truly missed by his family and loved ones.

Visitation for John will be held on Wednesday December 13th, 2023, at Blake Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St Oak Lawn IL, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A wake will be Thursday December 14th 11am-11:30am at Blake Lamb Funeral Home. Chapel Service to start promptly at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum, 6001 W. 111th Street Alsip, IL 60803.
