John Anthony Bozek

Beloved husband of Susan (née Marciano) Bozek, loving son of the late Edwin and Violet Bozek, devoted father of John Jr. (Pamela) and Shannon, and proud stepfather to Dana (Nicholas) Hopson and Jim Jamnik. Cherished grandfather of Logan and Austin, and step-grandfather of Anthony, Taylor, and Connor. Dear brother of Richard Bozek and Diane Bozek-Rodriguez. John was also a fond uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many who will deeply miss his warmth, humor, and kindness.

John spent his career in the auto parts industry, where his strong work ethic and easygoing nature earned him the respect and friendship of colleagues and customers alike. A proud St. Rita High School graduate, John’s love for his city shone through in his lifelong loyalty to the Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks.

He found great joy in traveling with his beloved wife, Susan, creating lasting memories together, attending car shows. He enjoyed spending time on the golf course and being outdoors. John’s laughter, generosity, and love for life touched everyone who knew him.

John’s memory will forever be cherished by all whose lives he graced. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on October 17, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn. Interment Private
