He was born April 1, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Harriet and Chet Bulger. He was the youngest of 5 children.
Kevin has been an active and loyal supporter of his Oak Lawn community for a long time. He attended DeLaSalle High School where he played football as a kicker. He then attended Illinois Benedictine for a short time on a football scholarship. He worked for Illinois Bell Telephone for many years. He finally settled into his own business, Chicago Cardinal Communications. Kevin’s love of football was a constant. First, as an assistant coach at Leo High School then as an assistant coach of the Brother Rice High School Crusaders actively fostering student athletes to have a sense of pride, community and tradition. In addition, he was an assistant coach with the Chicago Police Force’s Football Team, The Enforcers. Coaching was one of the great joys of his life.
He is survived by the love of his life, Judi Bulger; stepson, Sean Carroll (Lynzie); stepgrandchildren, Henry and Walter Carroll; stepsons, Brice and Brian Pall; brothers; Dana Bulger (Maureen); Gordon Bulger (Emma); sisters; Cathy Bulger Hancock (David); Wendy Bulger Mathieu (John). He was a loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd, Oak Lawn, IL. Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 9:30 am at Most Holy Redeemer 3650 W. 96th St., Evergreen Park.
