Laura Mae Smith

Smith, Laura (Nee Pickett) Age 82, passed away on May 29, 2016. Beloved wife of Robert C. Smith Sr., devoted daughter of Clara Boone and loving mother of Deborra Morgan (Raymond), Bobbyetta Johnson (William) Renee Lee (George), and Robert C. Smith Jr. Laura retired from the Central Region Procurement & Material Services Department of the United States Post office in 1992. Following retirement, Laura enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, family and friends serving as a travel agent for Casey’s Travel. Laura loved bowling and was an active member of several bowling leagues in the 1970’s and 1990’s. More recently her passion became bridge. She poured her heart into studying the game and becoming a “master player.” Visitation Friday, June 3, 2016, 3:00-9:00 p.m. at Blake–Lamb Funeral Home 4727 W. 103rd Street, Oak Lawn.
