Beloved husband of the late Sharon (nee Nowakowski) Piekosz; loving father of Leo (Darlene) Piekosz, Michelle Piekosz and David (Carolyn) Piekosz; cherished grandfather of Anthony Holt, Krystal (Justin) Deloriea, Jennifer (Glenn) Mikula, Nicholas Murphy, Amber Holt, Rachel Murphy, Leah Piekosz, Maxamillion Piekosz, and Harleyquinn Piekosz; proud great grandfather of Myrisa, Mason, Madex, Carter, Logan, Jaxon and Ethan; dear brother of Ronald (Angel) Piekosz; fond uncle of Ronnie Piekosz. Leon will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In consideration of the safety of our guests and associates, Blake-Lamb Funeral Home will adhere to the current gathering restrictions in the state Illinois, which allow 25 or fewer guests at services. Proper social distancing must be practiced and all guests will be required to wear facemasks at all times.
For the day of the funeral at St. Michael Church, they will allow 100 guests. "Please notify the Piekosz family for attendance to have your name placed on a sign-in list the church requires". We sincerely appreciate your understanding and consideration.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral, 4727 W 103rd, Oak Lawn. Funeral Friday, November 20, 2020. Prayers from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael Church, 14327 Highland Ave., Orland Park, IL 60462. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, IL.
