Linda Kathleen Brown, nee Smith, 53, passed away on January 12, 2026. Beloved Wife of Antwon for a loving 11 years. Dear Daughter of Eleanor, nee Hannon, and the late Don Smith. Loving Sister of Laura (Dan) Kairis, and Lisa (Lorenzo) Quintana. Dear Aunt of Kelsey, Joshua, and Jakob Kairis, and Andy Rivera, Ella Omi, and Damon and Gina Quintana, and many more.
Linda was a very dedicated teacher with Chicago Public Schools, lending her talents and passion to the students of Hedges Elementary, Prieto Elementary, and Robert Healy Elementary for 28 years. Besides teaching, the only thing she loved more was her family, especially her dear husband Antwon and her nieces and nephews.
Visitation to take place Monday, January 19, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St. Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Funeral to follow on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at the funeral home at 10:00 AM, with remarks from family and friends shared at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Mt. Greenwood Cemetery, Chicago, IL.
