Marie Immacula Celestin, age 84 born in Léogâne, Haiti, current resident of Chicago Illinois, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2025. She retired from The Admiral at the Lake as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She is the beloved wife of the late Joseph Brunet Celestin; loving mother of the late Marie Louise David and Jean Marie Celestin. She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her siblings, Solange, Durcamel, Marie Therese and Joel. Her children, Garry, Carmelo, and Marie Antoinette. Proud Grandmother of Liona, Josephine, Gabrellea, Laura, Gregory, Natasha, Alexandria, BreAnna, and Braylen. Heartwarming great-grandmother to Maya Ann and Cade. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, relatives, friends and faithful church communities.
Wake will be held on Thursday, December 11th at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A visitation and funeral will be held on Friday, December 12th at St. Josephine Bakhita Parish 2132 E. 72nd Street at 9:00 am. Visitation at 9:00 a.m. and funeral will begin promptly at 10:00am.
