Sad to hear of PJ's passing!  PJ was a true Irish wit who would impart his wisdom with a tinge of humor or sarcasm when necessary.  I remember PJ for giving me my dream job, taking over his newspaper route delivering the Tribune and Sun-Times on Hermitage from 79th to 83rd Street.  PJ was a participant in the balancing the scales of justice event, as well as founder of the Goodbye Monday, Hello Tuesday parties. He is remembered and missed!

Uncle Pat was a terrific Uncle and I will miss him dearly. The nephews will well remember the game of "slapsies" that Uncle Pat invented. But we will also remember him being a big brother, a friend, a father and a wonderful, generous Uncle! He was pretty good at nicknames also.

Many happy memories at O'Neills for tea in Dublin, Westport, and other spots.  Thanks for being a supporter, mentor, and friend.  Your Irish eyes are smiling.

P.J. Finnegan, President of the Gross Club of Mac's Barber Shop and Great Friend. Our fun trip to Ireland and times in the barber shop will never be matched or forgotten.  Your were the best of the best buddy and I will truly miss you. My God have you in the palm of His Hand.

Pat was a good friend thru high school and well into our adult lives. Although we didn't see that much of each other in later years, there are a lot of good memories.

Pat was a wonderful and caring brother. Pat had a great sense of humor. We enjoyed many laughs and good times. I will always remember our Ireland trip, visiting our family in Ballyhaunis, where our father grew up. God bless my little brother Pat!

Uncle Pat always had a smile on his face and a great attitude. He was a generous man and we always had fun on his visits. Uncle Pat always seemed to have a good time and I'm glad he enjoyed life. May he rest in peace

Pat was a true friend Even though we did not keep in touch that much when we did get together it was like old times. We went to grammar school & LFH together Class of 1961  & we will really miss him   Kitty & John Green

Master Patrick, PJ, Finnie, Patrick, our dear friend!  He always added a sparkle to our parties with his quick wit, great smile, silly jokes and famous stories of his Irish travels as well as the good ole days!  He shared his Irish treasures with our family from many Beleek tea pots to Galway crystal vases that we proudly display! Never a Christmas would pass without a Christmas card and awesome treats from Harry & David...from Gaelic Park concerts to Asford House brunches and all the parties in between, we will greatly miss "our kind quiet man"!
