

Robert A. Sniegolski, age 67, of Chicago, Illinois. Robert passed away peacefully, on February 21, 2025. Beloved son of the late Anthony and Mary Sniegolski; Dear brother of Marilyn (the late Thomas) Cook, Frances (the late Robert) Fanter and Evelyn (Alex) Kanter; Fond uncle of Todd and Nicole, Nathan and Jorie, Colin and Anna, Nicholas, Allison and Christopher.
Robert was a passionate fan of all the Chicago sports teams, especially the Chicago Cubs, he watched any games he could on TV. He checked the Chicago Tribune everyday for the schedules, scores and trades. Robert has participated in Chicago Special Olympics since 1968. He has won hundreds of medals over 50 plus years in local and state competitions. Including a gold medal at the National Special Olympics Golf Tournament in the individual skills competition. He loved his weekly bowling league and won several state medals in bocce competition. Robert was also passionate about food, especially in favorite restaurants Red Lobster and Chi-Tung and loved holidays when Polish Foods were usually on the menu. He often cut out recipes from The Chicago Tribune food section and handed them to his sisters, hoping that they would make them for him. Robert leaves behind many friends and family members whom he adored spending time with and he will be greatly missed.

A morning visitation will take place at St John Fisher Roman Catholic Church,10235 S Fairfield Ave, Chicago, IL, 60655 on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 9:30am- 10:30am followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30am and Interment at St Mary Cemetery, 87th Street & S Hamlin Ave, Evergreen Park, IL 60805.
