Christina passed away peacefully from this life the morning of September 6th after a long battle with cancer. She was with her husband and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. Christina was born in Riverside, CA, but has been an Oceansider since 2005 but was always a Highgrovian by heart. In 2015, after 35+ years of working as a probate examiner, she retired and enjoyed travelling, especially road trip adventures and quality time spent with her family. She was fortunate enough to enjoy an eight-day road trip up the coast of California in July with thirteen of them as her last road trip adventure.
Christina was devoted to her family and enjoyed crafting when she wasn’t travelling. She loved to travel and explore beaches and national parks with her husband. They shared many cherished adventures in their time together. She deeply loved her children and grandchildren and made it a point to be there for the birth of every grandchild and her one great grandchild. She loved everyone whole heartedly and will be remembered as someone others could always count on to be there for them when in need.
Christina is survived by her two daughters and son-in-laws: Teresa and Jose (Joe), Amanda (Mandy) and Sikhan and eight grandchildren: Joseph, Samantha, Jonathan, Jonas, Elyssa, Sikhan (Junior), Gideon and Thomas and one great grandchild: Owen. Christina is also survived by her husband, Donald (Don), her parents: Frank and Jennie, siblings: Isaac, Henry, Dolores (Dori), Manuel and Albert. She was preceded in death by her brother David, grandmother Rosemary, brother-in-law James (Jim).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. It is with regret that the services are limited to family only due to COVID restrictions. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at 895 S. Wayside St, Anaheim, CA 92805.
